The Sindh government has reduced the age limit for government jobs from 43 years to 33 years. The decision will be effective from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026.
The age limit for government jobs is 28 years and a special relaxation of 5 years has been given, while earlier the age limit for the job was 28 years and a relaxation of 15 years was offered.
The Sindh chief secretary has issued a new order for government jobs with the approval of the cabinet. According to the notification, the age limit for all jobs except the CEC exam will be 33 years.
In February, the Sindh cabinet approved the University Amendment Bill, under which the age limit for getting a government job was increased by five years.
There was a ban on government jobs in Sindh due to which this decision was made; it will not apply to Sindh Police and Public Service Commission jobs.
