The Champions Trophy 2025 Team of the Tournament has been unveiled, with no Pakistani player making the final squad.
The selected team comprises six Indian players, four from New Zealand, and two from Afghanistan, recognizing the tournament’s standout performers.
New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner has been appointed as the captain of the team. India dominates the lineup, with key players like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer securing their places. New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra and Matt Henry were also included for their impactful performances.
From Afghanistan, Ibrahim Zadran and Azmatullah Umarzai earned their spots due to their exceptional contributions. India’s Mohammed Shami and Varun Chakraborty, along with New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips, also made it to the final squad.
Additionally, India’s Axar Patel has been named as the 12th player of the team.
