The country was witnessing exorbitant increase in the sugar price despite the holy month of Ramadan.
According to details surfaced on Tuesday, the people were facing hardships due to the inflated sugar price. The price of sugar increased by Rs25 per kg in Karachi.
With this surge, the sugar was being sold by up to Rs180 per kg in the Sindh's provincial capital.
Meanwhile, the sugar was being sold at Rs170 per kg in Lahore.
On the other side, the chicken price was also increased significantly.
The chicken was being sold at Rs750 per kg in Karachi.
Moreover, the price of chicken is fixed at Rs670 per kg in Lahore.
