The price of sugar continued on Wednesday to witness whooping hike despite the holy month of Ramadan.
According to details, the citizens in Lahore were facing as hardships as the sugar price continued to increase despite the holy month of Ramadan.
The price of sugar now reached Rs180 per kg at Punjab's provincial capital.

Within 10 days, the price of sugar had increased by Rs 15 per kg. The 50 kg sugar bag had increased by Rs1000 to reach Rs8400.
Meanwhile, the people in Karachi were facing hardships due to the inflated sugar price. The price of sugar increased by Rs25 per kg in Karachi.
With this surge, the sugar was being sold by up to Rs180 per kg in the Sindh's provincial capital.
