The Directorate General of Passports announced the installation of state-of-the-art printers imported from Germany, which have the capacity to print 1,000 passports per hour.
The advanced technology aims to enhance efficiency and quality in passport printing services. Director General (DG) of Immigration and Passports Mustafa Jamal Qazi visited the e-printer section to oversee the ongoing installation process.
During his visit, foreign experts briefed him on the printer installation process and its expected impact on the passport printing system.
“These new modern printers will significantly improve the printing speed and quality of passports,” said Qazi.
He said that additional e-printers would arrive in Pakistan next month, further improving the system's capacity and performance.
Qazi maintained that the new printers, equipped with the latest technology, would ensure that citizens across the globe receive timely and high-quality passport services.
