Pakistan People's Party (PPP) MPA Jam Mehtab Hussain Dharki survived a firing attack near Khenjo, Dharki, on Sunday.
According to Jam Mehtab Hussain Dharki, unidentified assailants opened fire on his convoy, injuring three to four people.
"Our vehicles were targeted, and several individuals sustained injuries. The police have been called to the scene," he stated.
DSP Obaro Abdul Qadir Soomro confirmed the incident, saying that heavy police contingents from Obaro, Dharki, and Khenjo have been deployed in the area.
"I am on my way to the crime scene. Initial reports suggest that three security guards have been injured in the attack," said the DSP.
Authorities are investigating the motive behind the attack, and security has been tightened in the region.
