Nine Pakistan players will practice at the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) for the upcoming New Zealand ODI series.
According to details, Pakistan ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Abdullah Shafique, Faheem Ashraf, Imamul Haq, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Naseem Shah, Akif Javed, and Tayyab Tahir will leave for New Zealand early in the morning on March 23.
The Green Shirts will take on New Zealand in the white-ball series against the three-match ODI series, starting from March 29 to April 5.
Earlier, a dominant New Zealand side cruised to a five-wicket victory over Pakistan in a rain-shortened second T20I at the University Oval on Tuesday, extending their lead to 2-0 in the five-match series.
The match was reduced to 15 overs per side due to persistent rain, but that did little to deter the hosts as they comfortably chased down Pakistan’s 136-run target with 11 balls to spare.
