Police authorities have decided to include Kamran Asghar Qureshi, the father of accused Armaghan, in the investigation of the Mustafa Amir murder case.
According to the police report, Armaghan informed his father immediately after committing the crime. Instead of reporting the incident to the authorities, Kamran Qureshi allegedly advised his son to go into hiding.
Following this advice, Armaghan and his friend Shiraz fled to Skardu and other areas to evade arrest.
The police have officially informed the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) about this decision.
Prosecution sources claim that Armaghan's recent outburst in court is merely a diversion tactic. Reports also suggest that Armaghan urged his father to escape to the United States in a bid to avoid arrest.
Authorities fear that if Kamran Qureshi is not arrested soon, he may flee at any time.
