Pakistan fast bowler Muhammad Wasim Jr said on Sunday that it feels good to stage a comeback for the national cricket team after seven months.
Expressing his thoughts ahead of leaving for New Zealand for the ODI seris, Wasim said: "I got rid of an injury that prolonged. The green pitches were prepared for practice in Pakistan, which will reap benefits in New Zealand."
"The senior bowlers will be missed in the ODI series, but we will be accompanied by Naseem Shah, Akif Javed and Faheem Ashraf," he said.
He vowed to perform well if given any opportunity.
"I am not thinking about taking the wicket of any batter, but to bowl well," he added.
"We will win the New Zealand ODI series, similar to that of Australia ans South Africa," Wasim Jr added.
