Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has announced 30,000 Google Career Certificate Scholarships for students from 30 universities across the province. The initiative aims to equip youth with advanced digital skills and enhance their career opportunities in the tech industry.
The scholarship program was officially launched at a ceremony marking an agreement between the Sindh government, Google, and Teach Valley. Speaking at the event, CM Murad Ali Shah emphasized that investing in youth through scholarships is an investment in their bright future.
He stated that students would receive training in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and other modern skills to prepare them for the global digital economy. Sindh’s Education Minister highlighted that the initiative will help build a skilled talent pool to drive Pakistan’s digital economy forward.
Meanwhile, Sindh’s IT Secretary described the Google Career Certificates Program as a “game-changer” for young professionals, providing them with the necessary expertise to thrive in the tech-driven job market.
