Pakistan's cricket sensation and opening batsman, Imam-ul-Haq, is set to embark on a new chapter of his life as he prepares to marry his Norwegian sweetheart following the conclusion of the ICC World Cup 2023.
The cricket star's fans are buzzing with excitement as the wedding festivities are scheduled to commence from November 23 in Lahore.
Sources privy to the development said that the celebrations will kick off with a mesmerizing Qawwali night on November 23, although the identity of the performing group has been shrouded in secrecy.
Meanwhile, Nikkah ceremony is slated for November 25, with the Valima reception to follow on November 26. It is reported that Imam-ul-Haq will be dressed in a stylish Prince coat, adding a touch of elegance to the grand occasion.
However, the timing of this joyous event has been strategically planned, taking into account Imam's commitments in the ICC World Cup. If Pakistan's national team secures a spot in the final, they will be competing on November 19 in Ahmedabad.
Hence, it was decided to hold the wedding events post the conclusion of the cricketing extravaganza.
