Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was expected to visit Belarus on a two-day visit (April 10 and April 11) for bolstering further ties between the two countries following the auspicious occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
Sources divulged on Saturday that the negotiations will be held between Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and PM Shehbaz.
The talks will be held to promote cooperation between the two countries in investment, economic cooperation, and other sectors.
Moreover, the talks will be held to extend cooperation regarding the tractor industry in Pakistan.
The premier was also expected to hold talks with President Lukashenko on the Ukraine-Russia conflict and peace in the region.
Separately, PM Shehbaz felicitated Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon on the auspicious occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
During his telephonic conversation with the Tajik President, PM Shehbaz extended his wishes for the protection, prosperity and uplift of the people of Tajikistan.
The leaders had exchanged views on the bilateral ties between the two countries.
The premier and President Rahmon expressed their satisfaction over the strengthening ties between the two countries.
PM Shehbaz had also invited President Rahmon on a visit to Pakistan.
The premier acknowledged the historic border agreement signed between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
