Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi's media talk outside the accountability court revealed the reasons behind not going to welcome Nawaz Sharif at Minar-e-Pakistan.
“I am not a senior leader of the party,” Shahid Khaqan said.
He reiterated his allegations that NAB has paralyzed the country and it has been five years since he has been appearing before the courts.
He demanded to installation of cameras in courts and show the public what was actually happening in the court.
“People have been coming for justice for 10 years,” he added.
Abbasi said the former chief justice created the bench just before his retiring date and abolished the parliamentary law.
“There is also a demand from the incoming government to abolish NAB,” Abbasi said.

The former prime minister reflecting on the unforgettable sorrows, stated that he preferred not to dwell on past miseries. He expressed how the love and warmth of the people had the power to make him forget his pain and sorrow.
He underlined his role in nation-building, including Pakistan's nuclear program. He questioned why there was a pattern of separating him from the nation every few years.
