Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif voiced on Tuesday his profound apprehension about the deteriorating circumstances in Gaza.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Shehbaz Sharif raised a poignant question, asking, "What would be the point of aid if there are no recipients left in Gaza ?"
He strongly urged the United Nations and the international community to ensure a ceasefire recognising the urgency of the situation.

The former prime minister called for the immediate delivery of essential resources, including water, sustenance, fuel, electricity, and vital medical supplies, to alleviate the plight of the Palestinian people.

He also underscored the critical importance of not overlooking the gravity of the situation, saying, "We cannot turn a blind eye to war crimes termed as ‘self-defence.’ Clearly we recall the decades long offence that has been committed against the people of Palestine. "
"Although I sense that it might already be too late, the world leadership must wake up to the deadly consequences of an unresolved Palestinian question," Shehbaz Sharif added.
