Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif felicitated on Thursday former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for regaining the right to appeal against sentence in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia references.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Shehbaz Sharif said: “The restoral of the appeals of Nawaz Sharif against his sentence in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia references of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is the first step to remove the stains on the system of justice that were visible in the blackest era of injustice".

Recalling Nawaz Sharif’s ouster, Shehbaz expressed optimism that justice would prevail. He praised the Higher Power, saying, “The Higher Power helps the sufferers, highlights truth, and eradicates injustice.”
The former prime minister extended his felicitations to PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N workers over the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) verdict.

“The country will be steered out of the crisis only with the upholding of the system of justice,” Shehbaz Sharif maintained.
– Sanaullah upbeat about Nawaz Sharif's vindication –
Earlier today PML-N senior leader Rana Sanaullah said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will be vindicated with dignity in his legal cases.
Expressing his thoughts in line with the cases against Nawaz Sharif, Sanaullah said: "The process of lodging appeals is a standard procedure. The courts have also made it clear in their rulings that when the accused is presented, the appeals will be upheld."
Recounting the return of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, Sanaullah said: "On October 21, we staged a massive rally at Minar-e-Pakistan. The PML-N's rally witnessed a significant mobilisation."
"It was proved on October 21 that the PML-N workers and supporters stand by the party."
