Despite having been absent from the Pakistan cricket team since the end of 2021, Shoaib Malik, the seasoned Pakistan T20I all-rounder, has officially declared his readiness for the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup in 2024, which is set to take place in the USA and West Indies.
In a recent conversation with a local media outlet, Malik conveyed his eagerness to represent the national team in the upcoming prestigious tournament, provided that the cricket board extends an invitation.
"I am eager to hoist the T20 World Cup for Pakistan in 2024. My physical fitness remains unblemished. I am in the same peak condition as I was in my earlier days. Whenever the PCB gets in touch, I am at their service," Shoaib affirmed.

– PM Kakar meets Shahid Afridi –
Former legendary all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi on Thursday called on Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar.
PM Kakar urged Shahid Afridi to play his role in a bid to uplift cricket in the country.
The premier had also contacted Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee chairman Zaka Ashraf.
Ashraf had been asked to hold consultations with the senior players to uplift cricket in the country.
