Saarbruecken, the third-tier team that stunned Bayern Munich with a late winner in the German Cup, has been drawn against Eintracht Frankfurt in the last 16 of the competition.
The giantkillers will aim to continue their impressive run against Frankfurt, the 2018 Cup winners and last year's losing finalists.
The draw also features a matchup between Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart, two of the Bundesliga's in-form teams this season. Stuttgart currently sits third in the league, while Dortmund is in fourth place despite a recent 4-0 loss to Bayern.
Bayer Leverkusen, the current Bundesliga leaders, will take on second-tier Paderborn, while Hertha Berlin will face Hamburg, both of which are second-division sides with storied histories in German football.
Homburg, a fourth-tier team and the lowest-ranked side remaining in the competition, will host St. Pauli, the leaders of the second division.
The last 16 matches are scheduled for December 5 and 6.
