Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Rana Sanaullah averred on Sunday that his party will form the next government.
Addressing the public gathering in Faisalabad, Sanaullah recounted the PML-N’s tenure, saying, “During our tenure, the prices of sugar were Rs52 per kg and petrol Rs65 per litre. The price of the dollar was Rs110.”
He fired a broadside at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, saying, “What was the need to impose the PTI chairman on the country when the country was developing?"
“Those who are causing an uproar of inflation should remember where the country was standing in 2018. The PML-N had ended the power outage and menace of terrorism,” Sanaullah stated.

PML-N Vice President Hamza Shehbaz stressed on Sunday the need for reviving the country’s economy in a bid to address the masses’ problems.
Speaking to media in Lahore, the former Punjab chief minister asserted, “PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif is facing fake cases against him.’’ He recounted the power outage, saying, “Nawaz Sharif had addressed the problems in line with the power outages for up to 16 hours.”
He maintained: “The day we left the power, the growth rate was 6 percent. We also had prepared arrangements to provide free electricity for up to 100 units. But due to the favouritism, the arrangements in this regard could not be made.”
“Even the lifesaving drugs to treat cancer were made unavailable,” Hamza bemoaned.
He stressed the need for the political parties to stand on same agenda, considering the country’s situation.
Hamza was of the view that those who had plundered the national wealth should be held accountable.
