Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Spokesperson Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Thursday that her party will lead the country towards prosperity under the leadership of Parton-in-Chief Jahangir Khan Tareen.
Addressing a press conference in Taxila, Firdous remembered noted poet and religious scholar Allama Iqbal on his birthday. ‘’Allama Iqbal had taught the theory of self.’’
‘’The PTI came into existence in line with the Iqbal’s philosophy of self. Whether the PTIHD achieved the goal of implementing Iqbal's philosophy,’’ Firdous took a dig at the PTI.
She schooled former first lady Bushra Bibi and Farah Gogi. ‘’The former first lady and Farah Gogi had plundered the national wealth and harmed the party [PTI]. Both of them (Bushra Bibi and Farah Gogi) had received billions of rupees.’’

– Aleem Khan slams PTI –
IPP President Aleem Khan on Thursday slammed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief.
Addressing the public gathering in Taxila, Aleem Khan said, ‘’How can the person be sincere to us if he is not loyal to his own children? For the last three and a half years, the PTI chief has not met his sons. But he certainly remembered his sons following the hardships.’’
‘’The PTI did not have a single councillor or nazim in 2011. Before that, we had served as ministers. We were having the passion to indulge in untraditional politics for the sake of restricting the country.’’
Aleem Khan highlighted the political vendetta during the tenure of the PTI, saying, ‘’Jahangir Khan Tareen’s children were dragged into the bogus cases during the PTI’s tenure.’’
''The PTI chief had not even sparred the women. The women were also subjected to the fake cases. The PTI chief had no shame whatsoever,’’ the IPP president stated.
He lambasted the PTI chief over meritocracy, saying, ‘’The PTI chief used to vow that meritocracy would prevail. But things changed after he came into power.''
