Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar and Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman met on Saturday, stressing the urgent need for international collaboration to halt Israel's brutal aggression against Palestinians.
PM Kakar held a meeting with the Saudi crown prince. On the occasion, the leaders discussed the escalating situation caused by Israeli forces' aggression in Gaza and the West Bank, as outlined in a press release from the PM Office Media Wing.
During the meeting, both leaders underscored the importance of immediate action to stop the indiscriminate attacks on innocent Palestinians. They emphasised the urgency of lifting the blockade of occupied Gaza to enable the seamless delivery of essential humanitarian aid and medical assistance to the affected population.

PM Kakar expressed appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's role and efforts, particularly commending the sagacious leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince in promoting the Palestinian cause.

He thanked Saudi leadership for the timely initiative in convening the summit, aimed at fostering joint Arab-Islamic action to address the deteriorating situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Strongly condemning Israel's actions, Prime Minister Kakar highlighted the devastating consequences of bombing hospitals, refugee camps, schools, and residential buildings, leading to the tragic loss of over 10,000 lives. He reiterated Pakistan's unwavering commitment to a just and enduring resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, advocating for the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent, sovereign, and viable Palestinian state with borders predating June 1967 and Al Quds Alsharif as its capital.
In addition to discussing the pressing international matter, the two leaders exchanged views on bilateral issues. They reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening longstanding Pakistan-Saudi relations, aiming for a mutually beneficial economic partnership. The meeting highlighted the shared determination to work towards a peaceful resolution to the ongoing crisis, emphasising the importance of diplomatic efforts and global cooperation in achieving a lasting and just solution in the region.
