Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee chairman Zaka Ashraf will touchdown India to watch the final of the ICC World Cup 2023 on November 19 (Sunday).
Ashraf will reach India on November 17 and be accompanied by PCB chief operating officer Salman Naseer.
The PCB chief will also attend the meeting of the International Cricket Council (ICC), scheduled to take place on November 18.
On the other side, in a bid to underscore the matters in line with Pakistan cricket, a meeting between Ashraf and former cricketers was being held.
– Former cricketers meet Ashraf –
Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Mohammad Hafeez, Sohail Tanvir, and Wahab Riaz.
The consultations were likely to focus on matters pertaining to the selection committee.
The meeting will also underline the matters in connection with fringe players and domestic performers.
– Bowling performance not at par –
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam admitted on Saturday that the team’s bowling performance was not at par.
Expressing his thoughts after Pakistan were crushed by England, Babar Azam said: “The defeat against England has brought disappointment in the dressing room.’’
He made it clear that the meetings will be held to underscore the good and bad performances that transpired during the team’s entire World Cup campaign.
