In a recent event, former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq, shared a video message apologizing to the Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai, calling it a ‘slip of the tongue.’
In the video, the cricketer can be seen standing and stating his side of the story with a public apology over his recent statements he said, “My name is Abdul Razzaq, in yesterday’s press conference, I was talking about cricket and coaching. While talking I wanted to quote another example though by mistake I used Aishwarya Rai’s name; it shouldn’t have been done. I heartily apologize to her.”

He emphasized the fact that it was a mistake, using the actress’s name and it should not have been done in the first place, and that he sincerely apologizes for it.
Meanwhile, cricket legend Shahid Afridi gave an explanation for his laughing expressions when Razzaq was making controversial statements. Afridi mentioned how the references used by Razzaq were unethical and should not have been said.
Earlier, Abdul Razzaq while addressing the media and talking about Pakistani cricket gave an example to clarify his point. He said, “If one marries Aishwarya with the intention of having pious kids, it is not possible.” He made the statement in a very candid way while others laughed.
Shahid Afridi urged Razzaq to apologize and condemned that such statements should not have been made initially after which he immediately released an apology video.
Aishwarya’s fans from all over the world slammed the cricketer for his remarks. Taking to social media, they shared the clip with numerous hate captions and asked Razzaq to apologize.
