Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee chairman Zaka Ashraf on Wednesday halted the coaching staff to continue working for the upcoming tour of Australia.
Ashraf held a meeting with the coaching staff and manager. On the occasion, Ashraf was listening to what the coach staff was saying. But, during the conversation, Ashraf stopped the coaching staff from talking.
Zaka Ashraf had told his decision to Mickey Arthur and asked the latter to announce the decision openly by himself.
“We are not sacking you, but we will give you some other tasks,” Ashraf told Mickey Arthur and Grant Bradburn.

Reacting to the decision, Arthur said, “If you want to sack us, then do it completely”.
‘’We will decide your future within two days. However, you [coaching staff] are not going to Australia,’’ said the PCB chief.
The PCB chief also informed the manager that the latter’s performance was being monitored.
Ashraf made it clear that somebody from the former cricketers will be made the head coach of the national team for the Australia tour.
