In a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) on Wednesday, security forces eliminated seven terrorists in the Kiri Machan Khel area of Tank District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation involved a fierce exchange of fire between the troops and the terrorists, resulting in the neutralization of seven militants. The ISPR reported the destruction of terrorist hideouts during the operation, with the recovery of weapons and ammunition.
The terrorists targeted in the operation were actively involved in various terror activities, including recent attacks on the police in Tank. The ISPR highlighted their role in terrorist acts against both security forces and civilians.
