The Federal Board of Secondary Education (BISE) Islamabad has transformed the tedious process of degree verification into a quick and hassle-free experience.
Students, who once faced long queues and extended wait times, can now obtain certified degree verification in just minutes.
The Federal Board has introduced cutting-edge machines that operate similarly to ATMs, digitating the degree verification process. These state-of-the-art devices allow students to complete the entire process in a matter of minutes.
Federal BISE Chairman Qaiser Alam said a simplified yet innovative degree verification system is aimed at making the process more accessible for students, allowing them to apply online and receive verified documents promptly.
"Now the child can apply online, and his documents, like verification of documents, are verified online. The child reaches home. We call it the self-service machine," he said.
Students shared their enthusiasm for the new system. In interviews, they praised the efficiency of the self-service machines, highlighting the drastic reduction in the time it takes to verify their degrees.
"Earlier, it used to take a lot of time to verify, now we are doing it in just fifteen minutes. It is very easy for us as students; now we can come here without parents,’ one of the students told SAMAA TV.
He hailed the self-service-based degree attestation service.
The Federal Board's innovative step has set a precedent for other education boards and institutions across the country.
The call for adaptation to innovative solutions is echoing throughout the education sector, urging a shift towards more efficient and student-friendly processes.
