In an ongoing government crackdown against narcotics, a series of operations conducted from November 5th to 12th have resulted in the confiscation of a staggering 3143 kilograms of illegal substances nationwide, with over 34 arrests made.
During the operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Sindh, authorities seized 2644 kilograms of narcotics.
Meanwhile, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa contributed 234 kilograms, Gilgit 117 kilograms, and Balochistan reported a significant haul of 1740 kilograms of contraband.
Notably, Balochistan accounted for 28 kilograms of methamphetamine and 25 kilograms of heroin seized during the crackdown.
Throughout the country from November 5th to 12th, a total of 2091 kilograms of cannabis and 240 kilograms of opium were intercepted and confiscated.
Since the initiation of the crackdown on September 1st, a total of 33,924 kilograms of narcotics have been seized nationwide, leading to the arrest of more than 435 individuals involved in drug trafficking.
