Three terrorists were killed in two separate operations of the security forces in Dera Ismail Khan and South Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted an operation against alleged terrorists in Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan. As a result, two suspects were killed in the ensuing exchange of fire.
The second operation was conducted in Kot Azam area of South Waziristan in which one suspected terrorist was killed.
According to the ISPR, heavy weapons and ammunition were seized from the terrorists in both the operations.
The three killed terrorists were said to be involved in attacks on security forces and common citizens.
On the other hand, a Pakistan Army official was martyred in a landmine explosion in the Garyum area of North Waziristan.
