A record-breaking 1.25 million fans attended matches dur1ing the tournament, surpassing the previous mark of 1.016 million set during the 2015 edition in Australia and New Zealand.
Throughout the Oct. 5-Nov. 19 event, a total of 1,250,307 spectators filled the stands, showcasing the enduring appeal of cricket and the excitement that the one-day international (ODI) format continues to offer.

Despite early matches without India generating some empty seats, overall spectator figures had already crossed the one million mark well before the tournament's conclusion.
Chris Tetley, the ICC Head of Events, described the ODI tournament as a "great success," highlighting the staggering attendance as evidence of cricket's enduring popularity. Tetley stated in a press release that the event not only entertained but also brought together cricket fans worldwide in a celebration of the sport.
Additionally, the tournament set multiple records in broadcast and digital viewership, further solidifying its impact on the global cricket community.
