Talking to SAMAA TV, spokesperson of the Foreign Office (FO) Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that eliminating terrorism and ensuring peace and security in the country was country’ first priority.
Regarding the illegal resident Afghan citizens, she said that the anti-rhetorics were unware about immigration policy of Pakistan.
“Like the rest of the world, Pakistan also has to ensure compliance with its immigration laws,” she stressed.

The FO spokeswoman said violation of immigration laws can lead to fines, imprisonment and deportation as embassies are active in both Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Pakistan has urged Kabul to stop the use of Afghan land against Pakistan and clarified that Pakistan's immigration laws are not for any specific country as they are for all countries.
“From November 1, it is necessary to obtain a Pakistan visa for the drivers of commercial trucks,” she said.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan Embassy is active for uninterrupted trade, talks with Afghan authorities are also ongoing.
