Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir and his Excellency Sheikh Saleh bin Abdullah bin Muhammad Humaid discussed on Friday the matters of mutual interest.
The Imam-e-Kaaba, paid a visit to COAS General Syed Asim Munir at GHQ. During their meeting, COAS General Syed Asim Munir extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guest, emphasising that the visit of H.E. Imam-e-Kaaba to Pakistan is a source of great honor for the people of Pakistan.
General Asim highlighted the profound reverence Muslims worldwide hold for Haramain Shareefain and their custodian. Imam-e-Kaaba emphasised the peaceful nature of Islam, asserting that there is no room for misconstrued interpretations of the religion.

Both dignitaries expressed condemnation for the ongoing atrocities in the Gaza conflict and the oppression faced by Muslims in IIOJK. They solidified their support for the people of Palestine and Kashmir.
General Syed Asim Munir underscored the robust strategic relations between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, rooted in exemplary historic religious and cultural ties. He acknowledged the unique reverence that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia holds in the hearts of Pakistanis, emphasising the unanimity of views between the two brotherly countries.
Imam-e-Kaaba offered prayers for the peace, stability, and unity of the Ummah.
