The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted protective bail to PTI Senior Vice President Sher Afzal Marwat in two cases registered against him in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The court also stopped the police from arresting the lawyer.
Marwat has been granted protective bail for 15 days. He has been ordered to appear in the court concerned in Dir district within 15 days.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani of the Islamabad High Court issued the bail orders.
Marwat appeared in the court along with his lawyer Naveed Hayat Malik.
A day earlier, a case had also been registered against the PTI official and lawyer in the Aabpara police station.
