The NAB was also allowed to investigate the former prime minister for three days in jail. A court order had said that, according to the NAB, the PTI chief returned the money looted from Pakistan to the accused.
According to the bureau, the suspect returned the money and took land and money for Al-Qadir Trust in exchange. There was concrete evidence that Imran Khan committed corruption, it claimed.
Imran claimed he did not take any financial benefits, adding that if his government had proved money laundering, it would have cost 100 million pounds.
