Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Rana Sanaullah said on Thursday that justice had prevailed in the Avenfield case.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, the former interior minister said: “The justice had been delivered to Nawaz Sharif in the Avenfield case after seven years.”
In connection with the meetings of parliamentary boards, Sanaullah said: “We have formulated the strategy today in line with parliamentary boards’ meetings. Nawaz Sharif will himself meet with every candidate in the meetings of the parliamentary boards of all the divisions.”

Sanaullah had rebuked the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, suggesting that the challenges faced by the PTI leader are the consequences of his actions.

PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif exchanged views on the country’s political situation on Thursday.
Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with the PML-N president in Model Town. On the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif extended his felicitations to Nawaz Sharif on the latter’s acquittal in the Avenfield reference.
Shehbaz Sharif also felicitated PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz.
Nawaz Sharif expressed his gratitude to Shehbaz Sharif for felicitating him on his acquittal.
