Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday called for the elections on time in a bid to steer the country out of the crisis.
Speaking exclusively on Samaa TV, the former prime minister stated: "I will follow the instructions of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif."
Shehbaz Sharif went on to say that he will contest the election from the constituency in which Nawaz Sharif will award him a ticket.

He expressed his resolve to thwart all the "conspiracies" against PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.
Expressing his thoughts about the elections, Shehbaz Sharif said: "There is a dire need to end all the doubts in line with the upcoming elections."

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif expressed on Friday his resolve to foster the country’s economy under the leadership of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

The PML-N senior leaders, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Rana Sanaullah, Raja Riaz, and Sardar Awais Leghari, called on Shehbaz Sharif. On the occasion, matters pertaining to the party’s organisational affairs and preparations for the general elections were underlined.
Shehbaz Sharif was briefed on the PML-N’s preparation in different constituencies ahead of the polls.

Expressing his thoughts, Shehbaz Sharif asserted, “The PML-N is having an experience of providing relief to the masses and steering the country out of the quagmire.”
