Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif said on Sunday that his party will control the ballooning inflation if his party votes into power.
The ex-lawmakers and party leaders called on the former prime minister in Lahore. Prominent among the attendees were PML-N's Sindh chapter President Bashir Memon, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Azam Nazir Tarar, and Attaullah Tarar.
Sheikh Rohail Asghar, Hanif Abbasi, and Khawaja Salman Rafique also held separate meetings with Shehbaz Sharif.
On this occasion, Shehbaz Sharif also felicitated Bashir Memon on the occasion of Sindh Cultural Day. The matters in line with the preparations for the general elections and the party's organisational affairs were underscored.

The huddle underlined the talks held with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).

"We will take everybody on board under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif to lead the country towards prosperity," Shehbaz Sharif said.
"The masses had to bear the brunt of the politics based on the foul language and character assassination," he added.
The party leaders also felicitated Shehbaz Sharif on the acquittal of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif in the Avenfield reference.
