One of the founding members of the PTI, Akbar S. Babar said on Tuesday that he had filed separate applications against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) intra-party elections.
Expressing his thoughts, Babar said: "The active workers from Toba Tek Singh had also filed the application. Bilal Rana, among other PTI leaders, had also submitted the application. The bat [PTI] is under threat, and we have come out to save it."
"The new people had emerged in the form of the lawyers in the party. Those who used to label us as Easyload have been themselves downloaded," he said.

Babar asserted: "The PTI intra-party polls are an open violation of the Election Act 2017."
He asked the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take notice of the PTI intra-party polls. "The ECP should give the order of hold the fresh PTI intra-party polls."
Babar said: "The judicial commission had delivered a detailed verdict in my favour. The PTI leaders had themselves made lies. All the facts will be presented before the electoral watchdog. The intra-party elections have been limited to merely completing the documents".
