A terrorist was killed by security forces in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated the terrorist, identified as Habibur Rehman was involved in attacks against security forces and innocent civilians. The operation also resulted in the discovery of arms and ammunition.
The ISPR reaffirmed the relentless determination of security forces to persist in their efforts to eliminate the terrorist threat.

A solider embraced martyrdom in a fire exchange between the security forces and terrorists in the general area Sararogha in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s South Waziristan district, the military’s media wing said on Tuesday.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that security forces effectively engaged the terrorists' location.
However, during an intense fire exchange, Sepoy Ahmed Ali, 26, hailing from district Charsadda fought gallantly and embraced martyrdom, the ISPR further said.
“Sanitisation operation was being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area,” it added.
The ISPR also said that “[The] security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.”
