The 23-year-old's consistent performances have propelled him four spots up on the updated rankings, securing the premier spot.
His ascent to the top has a ripple effect on the rankings, causing Rashid Khan (second), Adil Rashid (equal third), Wanindu Hasaranga (equal third), and Maheesh Theekshana (fifth) to each drop a spot within the top 10. Simultaneously, Axar Patel, another Indian spinner, makes a notable climb of 16 places, securing the 11th position.

The latest T20I rankings for batters showcase significant shifts, with India's Yashasvi Jaiswal soaring 16 places to claim the 19th position, just behind his top-ranked teammate, Suryakumar Yadav. Meanwhile, Australia's Travis Head improves by 16 places, securing the 29th position after commendable performances in the recent sub-continent series.
