Test captain Shan Masood on Thursday became part of the Karachi Kings for the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Masood was previously performing the key role for the Multan Sultans' dressing room, and now he will represent the Kings as a result of the trade between them and Multan Sultans.
The King's owner welcomed Masood to his side. "There is no doubt that Shan Masood is a great addition to the Karachi Kings. The Kings will utilise the skills and experience of Shan Masood in the PSL 9."

Meanwhile, left-arm spinner Faisal Akram will join the Sultans.
– Gladiators appointed Moin Khan as team director –
Quetta Gladiators appointed on Tuesday former Test cricketer Moin Khan as the team director for the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Khan had been affiliated with the Gladiators since the first edition of the marquee tournament. Prior to his appointment, he served the Gladiators as the head coach.
In 2019, the Sarfraz Ahmed-led Gladiators clinched the title when Khan was their coach.
New Zealand all-rounder James Neesham on Tuesday registered for the ninth edition of the PSL on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old had represented Peshawar Zalmi in the eighth edition of the marquee tournament.
