The Federal Directorate of Education has announced all schools and educational institutions under their authority will be closed for winter break from December 25 to December 29.
Schools will actually start closing on Friday, December 22, giving everyone a few extra days to relax before the official break begins.
The break extends until Monday, January 1, 2024.
This decision follows similar announcements made by the Punjab and Sindh governments earlier this month.
In Punjab, students will be off from December 18 to January 1, 2024, and in Sindh, schools will be closed from December 22 to 31.
After the break, all schools will reopen their doors on Monday, January 1, 2024, ready for a fresh start to the new year.
In Sindh, the new school year will officially begin on April 15, 2024, for schools, and August 1, 2024, for colleges.
