Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Friday took notice of the differences that emerged within the party over the distribution of tickets in the Rawalpindi division.
In an effort to resolve the disputes, the meeting between Nawaz Sharif and PML-N leaders from Rawalpindi took place in Lahore, during which the former prime minister meticulously heard the perspectives of all four candidates.
According to the PML-N, the final decision regarding ticket distribution will rest in the hands of Nawaz Sharif himself.
– Shehbaz Sharif sees PML-N 'capable' of controlling inflation –
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif said that his party was "capable" of controlling the inflation in the country.
The party leaders from Balochistan, Punjab, and Sindh held a meeting with Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore. Prominent among those who met the PML-N president were Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Jam Kamal, Sumaira Malik, and Khawaja Shoaib. PML-N stalwart Sardar Ayaz Sadiq was also present on the occasion.

Shehbaz Sharif said: "The PML-N is the biggest of all the political parties in the country. The PML-N is the symbol of the country's development and the centre's strength."
Underscoring the importance of uplifting Balochistan, the former prime minister said: "It was and will be the priority to lead Balochistan towards progress and ensure the uplifting of rights in the province."
Shehbaz Sharif stated: "We will make Balochistan the most prosperous place in the country. We will take all the provinces on board in the same way to ensure development across the country."
Speaking about the 18th Amendment, Shehbaz Sharif said: "We will ensure equitable distribution within provinces through the 18th amendment.
