SAMAA TV has obtained a confidential list of witnesses in the National Accountability Bureau's (NAB) reference in £190m scam against the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan.
The list, which has not been officially verified, reportedly includes three federal ministers from the PTI's previous cabinet: Parvez Khattak, Nadeem Afzal Chan, and Zubaida Jalal.
Their inclusion as witnesses raises questions about their potential role in the case and the information they may provide to NAB.
Interestingly, no federal minister from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement - Pakistan (MQM-P) is listed as a witness against the former prime minister. This absence could indicate a lack of direct involvement by MQM members in the alleged financial wrongdoing.
Ex-Principal Secretary Azam Khan is also mentioned as a witness, although his exact role remains unclear.
The list also includes names of officials from various institutions, including bank officers, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) officers, patwari (land record official), secretary and deputy secretary of east recovery unit and chief financial officer.
