The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) initiated a significant administrative reshuffle, marking major officer transfers across several key regions, including Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan.
Muhammad Iqbal, the District Election Commissioner of Lower Dir, has been reassigned to Multan. Jamshed Khan steps in as the new District Election Commissioner for Lower Dir. Additionally, Khuda Bakhsh, the District Election Commissioner of Korangi, and the District Election Commissioner of Malir have both undergone transfers. Sara Khan, serving as the Election Officer in DI Khan, has now been appointed to Malir, while Hafiz Adeel Ashraf takes on responsibilities in DI Khan.
Nader Ali, previously District Election Commissioner in Taunsa, has now assumed the role of DEC Pakpattan. Gujarat welcomes Shaukat Ali as the District Election Commissioner, with Shujaullah Khan relocating to Kot Adu. Sajjad Akhtar will take over as the district election commissioner in Chakwal, and Maqsood Hussain is set to serve as the district election commissioner in Rakzai.
The Provincial Election Commissioners in Sindh and Balochistan have also undergone transfers. Sharifullah, the Election Commissioner of Balochistan, now assumes the role of Provincial Election Commissioner in Sindh.
