The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ticketholder from Lahore, Nasir Salman, decided on Tuesday to part ways with the party.
Expressing his thoughts, Salman said, "I do not believe in the politics of the PTI based on the anti-state narratives. I am bidding farewell to politics and PTI."
Salman had decided to bid farewell to the PTI due to differences with the party policy.

Few days back, PTI joint secretary Noman Shah on Thursday decided to part ways with the party following the events that transpired on May 9.

Expressing his thoughts, Shah said: "It now becomes difficult to stand by the deposed premier after May 9 mayhem. The workers had to bear brunt of the ill-mannered decisions taken by the party top brass."
He lambasted former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar and Farah Gogi, saying the practice of "corruption was promoted" under the supervision of the latters.
"The deposed premier had left no stone unturned to perplex the masses. This is the time where the PTI is now itself placed on ventiliation," he said.
