Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) lawyer Barrister Ali Zaffar on Tuesday said that party has submitted response to the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) questions regarding the recent intra-party elections.
Speaking to media, he confirmed the submission, asserting that all 40 questions related to the intra-party election have been addressed comprehensively.
Barrister Ali said that even the ECP officials admitted that some of the questions asked to the PTI were not appropriate.
The electoral watchdog had previously directed PTI to provide responses to an additional set of 32 queries pertaining to the intra-party election case.
The Commission will deliberate on PTI's response and determine whether the party's internal polls complied with legal and regulatory requirements.
This development marks a significant step in the ongoing proceedings, with PTI actively engaging with the Election Commission's inquiries regarding its intra-party election. The forthcoming hearing on Tuesday holds promise for further insights into the intricacies of this case.
