The app enables users to manage and update personal information, monitor Hajj application status in real-time, and receive important updates.
Comprehensive info at Pilgrims' fingertips
The Pak Hajj App provides a wealth of information, including personal details, group information, Mehram details, helper information, additional facilities, Hajj dues, nominee information, bank account details, and training schedules.
It also offers flight details, accommodation information for Makkah and Madinah, and a platform for submitting complaints, requests, and general inquiries.
The application boasts a multilingual interface, allowing pilgrims to switch between Urdu and English for ease of understanding. Plans are underway to incorporate additional languages in the future. The app's offline map feature assists pilgrims in selecting the shortest route to their destination, with the option to share their location.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed commended the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of IT and NITB, emphasizing the necessity of upgrading the existing Hajj system with technological advancements. He expressed confidence that the Pak Hajj App would not only enhance efficiency but also provide insights into the sentiments of pilgrims, serving as a centralized platform seamlessly integrated with the Ministry's existing systems.
