The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday considered opting for seat adjustment with the Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith (MJAH) in the upcoming elections.
MJAH chief Sajid Mir called on Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore. On this occasion, both leaders discussed the possibility of the seat adjustment. The three-member committee had been constituted to review the matters in connection with the seat adjustment.
Prominent among those who were included in the committee were Hafiz Abdul Karim, Ayaz Sadiq, and Rana Sanaullah.
The committee will submit its report to PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif on Sunday after mutual consultations.
– Shehbaz Sharif asks party workers to gear up for elections –
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif asked the party workers on Saturday to gear up for the upcoming elections.
The PML-N leaders held a meeting with the former prime minister. Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Rana Mashhood, Awais Leghari, and Shaheen Butt.
On this occasion, matters in line with party affairs and the general elections were discussed. The PML-N leaders apprised Shehbaz Sharif of the preparations for the elections in their respective constituencies.
Shehbaz Sharif had urged the party workers to launch a door-to-door campaign in a bid to mobilise the masses for the elections.

“It will be up to the masses to decide the country’s fate on February 8. The masses will wipe out those who left them [masses] to witness the ballooning inflation in the country,” Shehbaz Sharif said.
The former prime minister said, “We will again fulfil all the promises made with the masses under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.”
