Earthquake tremors of 3.7 magnitude were felt in Neelum Valley and surrounding areas on Saturday.
People were panicked due to the severity of the tremor in the area.
Few days back, the Malakand District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its neighbouring regions experienced a sudden jolt today as earthquake tremors sent shockwaves across the landscape, causing panic among residents.
In the aftermath of the earthquake, people came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran. Meanwhile, no loss of life or property was reported from any part of the capital due to the earthquake.
Earlier this month, an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 struck Pakistan's capital Islamabad on Monday afternoon, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre.
Pakistan Metrological Department said that the epicenter of the earthquake was 103 kilometers away from Doda in Indian Held Kashmir. The magnitude on the Ritcher scale was recorded to be 5.8 while its depth was 140 kilometres.
An aftershock of 5.1 magnitude occurred at 3:31 PM with a depth of 133 KM. As of now, there have been no reported details regarding any damage caused by the earthquake.
