Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Friday blamed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for a red-hot inflation.
The former prime minister presided over the key party meeting in London. Prominent among those who attended the meeting were PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, Muhammad Zubair, Atta Tarar, Malik Ahmad Khan, and Abid Sher Ali, among others.
It was recalled in the meeting that Nawaz Sharif will return to the country on October 21.
In line with the Supreme Court verdict regarding the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) amendments, the PML-N bigwigs had a discussion.
Expressing his thoughts on the occasion, Nawaz said, "For the sake of one person, the national interests were put at stake."
He praised former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif, saying, "Shehbaz Sharif had saved the country from default, for which he should be lauded."

PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz said on Thursday that the country’s problems will be addressed under the able leadership of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Ms Nawaz addressed the party's former lawmakers and ticketholders. She lavished praise on PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, saying, "The country’s son [Nawaz Sharif] is once again coming to take the country out of the crisis."
"Nawaz Sharif is not returning for the sake of his own relief, but rather coming to address the masses’ problems," Ms Nawaz added.
The country needs an agenda of peace and unity, not vendetta, she said.
Ms Nawaz asserted: "The masses should give Nawaz Sharif more than a two-third majority. Nawaz Sharif will take the people out of the economic hardships."
"I would like to assure the entire nation with complete faith that the good days are about to come.
