– Never promoted sectarianism: Fazlur Rehman –
Last month, Rehman said on Sunday that his party had never promoted sectarianism in the country.
Speaking to the media in Multan, Rehman said, "We have staged politics and ensured to maintain socio-religious values. We have to ensure that we speak in a gentle way if there are any differences of opinion. We do not have to use any foul language."
Underscoring the importance of uplifting social values across the country, Rehman said, "There is a dire need to develop social connection with the masses."
